Wroxeter Roman City (Viroconium EH)

Prospering about AD 150, Wroxeter was the fourth largest city in Roman Britain. Fine remains to be seen and finds illustrating everyday life are shown in the museum on site. The most impressive remains are the 2ndC municipal baths and the huge wall dividing the exercise hall from the baths.
